Personal data
Personal data refers to information about you. This includes your name, address and your e-mail address. You do not have to disclose any personal data to be able to visit our website. In some cases, we require your name and address as well as further information in order to be able to offer you the desired service.
The same applies in the event that we deliver informative material to you, at your request, and/or if we reply to your questions. In such cases, we will always point this out to you. In addition to this, we only store data that you have transferred to us automatically or voluntarily.
If you use one of our services, we generally only collect data that is actually necessary in order to be able to offer you our service. We might ask you for further information, but this will only be optional. Whenever we process personal data, we do so in order to be able to offer you our service or to pursue our commercial objectives.
Automatically stored data
Server log files
The website provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transfers to us automatically. These data are:
- Date and time of request
- Name of file requested
- Page from which the file was requested
- Access status (file transferred, file not found, etc.)
- Web browser and operating system used
- Full IP address of the requesting computer
- Volume of data transferred
These data are not merged with other data sources. The data processing takes place pursuant to Art. 6.1 (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest to improve the stability and functionality of our website.
For reasons of technical security, in particular to safeguard against attempts to attack our web server, we temporarily store these data. It is not possible for us to draw conclusions about individual persons based on these data. After seven days at the latest, the data is anonymised by shortening the IP address at the domain level, which means it is no longer possible to make a connection to the individual user. The data are also processed, in an anonymised form, for statistical purposes; they are not compared with other data sets or forwarded to third parties, even in extracts.
Cookies
When you visit our website, we might store certain information on your computer in the form of cookies. Cookies are small files that are transferred from a web server to your browser and are stored on your computer’s hard disk. The legal basis for the use of cookies is Art. 6.1 (f) GDPR.
In this process, only the Internet protocol address is stored, but no other personal data. This information that is stored in the cookies makes it possible to recognise you automatically when you next visit our website, making it more user-friendly.
Naturally, you may also visit our websites without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognised on your next visit, you can refuse the use of cookies by changing your browser settings to "Deny cookies". You can find the relative instructions in the operation guide for your respective browser. If you deny the use of cookies, however, this might lead to restrictions in the use of many areas of our websites.
Security
We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All our employees and any service providers who work for us are obliged to comply with the data protection laws in force.
Whenever we collect and process personal data, this data is encrypted before it is transferred. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to an ongoing improvement process and our privacy statements are revised on a constant basis. Please ensure that you have the latest version.
Rights of data subjects
Please contact us at any time if you wouldlike to know which of your personal data we store, or respectively if you would like to rectify or erase such data. Furthermore, you have the right to a restriction of the data processing (Art. 18 GDPR), a right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR), as well as the right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR). In such cases, please contact us directly.

We reserve the right to change our privacy statements should this be necessary due to new technologies. Please ensure that you have the latest version. If fundamental changes are made to this privacy statement, we will publish these on our website.
